The fastest-growing junior golf series in North America will kick-start its season at The Hills at Portal Golf Club in South Surrey on Saturday, March 30, with an 18-hole qualifier that will advance top-performing golfers to the British Columbia provincial final (April 27-28).

During the 2023 season, six players from British Columbia successfully advanced through the three stages of the NB3 JGNC series to earn a spot at the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship, which airs every December on the Golf Channel.

The championship, in its fourth year, aims to grow the game of golf by providing opportunities for junior golfers to improve, compete and be recognized.

Participants including Kathleen Dunn (Surrey), Manny Lalh (Nanaimo), Jack Guo (West Vancouver), David Zhang (Vancouver) and Jenny Guo (West Vancouver); all earned their spot through the first annual Notah Begay III Canadian Junior Golf Championship, which took place last July at the famous Kanawaki Golf Club just outside of Montreal, QC.
