Harness racing at Fraser Downs resumes this Friday evening at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.

If your name didn’t end in Molloy, McKellar or Davis Friday at Fraser Downs, there were not many wins left over.

Trainer Allan Molloy had three winners from his stable Feb. 21, Dave McKellar won four races and Bill Davis won two races, one which included the $25,000 feature stake race (Miss Valentine).

Blacksmiths at Fraser Downs were scurrying to look for snowshoes on Sunday as the snow just kept coming and coming.  In the spirit of the “show must go on” both Horsemen and the track crew made it happen.

Not only were numerous groups booked to attend the races but consideration has to be given to all the customers that bet on the races from all over North America via simulcast. Good job by all…

J J J Stables were very happy the races went forward as their horse, Big N Bad, captured the $25,000 Mr. Vancouver stake race giving the owner and trainer/driver Bill Davis two rich stake victories on the weekend.

Veteran Trainer/Driver Rick White picked up the secondary feature as Gotta Have Nukes won the $10,500 Open pace.

Do you think you are a better poker player than the Harness Drivers at Fraser Downs??

You can find out Saturday, March 8, if you eliminate a driver, you receive a $50 Bounty and a Homestretch buffet for two.

With your entry fee into the poker tournament you are entered into the handicapping challenge for Fraser downs on March 9 with $1,000 in prizes.

What a great crossover, you might knock out the Driver playing at your table but then you might be asking him for handicapping tips for the Fraser Downs live races the next day.

See you there!!!
