LETTER: Robo call scandal taps into outrage

It appears Canadians are just waking up, outraged by the apparent widespread electoral fraud which may have stolen an election.

To the editor;

It appears Canadians are just waking up, outraged by the apparent widespread electoral fraud which may have stolen an election.

The Vancouver day of action rally from the Vancouver Art Gallery to Victory Square concerned the

“robo-call” electoral fraud scandal associated with Mr. Harper’s party but it goes further than that.

Two abuses of prorogation to usurp the power of parliament and challenging the authority of the representative of the Queen, the Governor General.

A finding of contempt of parliament, unprecedented in the history of the Commonwealth, resulting in a vote of non-confidence in the Harper government and its fall.

Now we find that the election may have been a stolen election; its result, a majority, bought with electoral fraud.

This is not the Tory party Canadians know and vote for. These are not Progressive Conservatives. This is not democracy as Canadians understand it. This is a time for accountability.
