Missing woman found dead

Woman's body found in ditch near Highway 1 and 176 Street Wednesday afternoon

An 83-year-old woman who went missing this week was found dead on Wednesday.

Yee Lin Chow had been last seen by a family member Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 8) in the Guildford area.

The woman, who had been suffering from type II diabetes and dementia, was found in a ditch near Highway 1 and 176 Street.

Foul play is not suspected in her death.

Police would like to thank the family, friends and volunteers for their search efforts and the public and media for their assistance.
