Man stabbed during Surrey fight

Fight on 120 Street turns into stabbing, sending one man to hospital.

A man is in hospital after being stabbed during a fight in Newton.

On Thursday (Feb. 4) at about 10 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to reports of a stabbing in the 8200- block of 120 Street.

When police arrived, they found a 36-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Reports indicate the incident started when several people go into a fight, when someone used a knife in the stabbing.

Police describe the investigation in the early stages.
