Mac's uses Facebook to out crooks

Mac's is looking for people suspected of robbing one of their convenience stores in Surrey on Aug. 8.

A local chain of  convenience stores is using social media to out some of the people suspected of robbing their outlets.

Mac's Convenience Stores is using a Facebook page showing still images and descriptions of people believed to be in the process of robbing their stores.

The latest posting regards a robbery of the Mac's Store at 14820 108 Ave. on Wednesday, Aug. 8.

The suspects entered the store, produced a knife and demanded the money from the register and cigarettes. The employee complied and the suspects left.

The first suspect is described as male, 160-170 lbs., 5’8”-5’10”, wearing a black and white Nike jacket, white hoodie, black and white gloves, and a red bandana covering his face. This suspect was in possession of a knife.

The second suspect is described as male, 160-170lbs, 5’8-5’10”, wearing a black jacket with Rocawear on the back, red pants, red and black baseball hat, black gloves and a white shirt covering his face. He was also in possession of a blue and black bag.
