That’s in the Twin Rinks/ Sardis Library area near Mt. Slesse middle school. The woman was taken to hospital, where she remains with undetermined injuries.
The incident on March 30 on Tyson Road comes a month after the IIOBC was called to Chilliwack to investigate the death of a man following a Tasering by police on Vedder Road. The man who died was on a supervised visit with his four-year-old daughter on Feb. 24 when he took off with the young girl.

The watchdog issued two pleas for potential witnesses in specific vehicles caught on video. At first they asked for drivers or passengers in a light-coloured Ford Escape and a dark-coloured Lexus SUV, then two weeks later IIOBC asked for help to find the driver or passenger in a dark blue Dodge Ram.
