Daylight savings is coming to an end, but Surrey residents will catch up on the hour they lost in the spring.

Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour before hitting the sack Saturday night, as daylight savings comes to an end.

We make the switch to Pacific Standard Time at 2 a.m. on Nov. 2, making up for the hour we lost when we sprang ahead in spring.

The time change is also a good reminder to replace batteries in smoke detectors.
