Surrey RCMP are appealing for witnesses to a pedestrian hit-and-run — as well the driver involved — to come forward.
According to a news release, a man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries just before 5 p.m. on April 21, after he was struck by a truck near the 19100-block of 74 Avenue.
“Thankfully the pedestrian was not seriously injured as a result of the collision,” Cpl. James Mason said in the release.
“Police are urging the driver involved in the collision to do the right thing and come forward.”
