Admire restored antique and custom vehicles at the day-long Show 'n Shine Aug. 10.

A signature event of the Cloverdale Blueberry Festival is the Surrey Show ‘n Shine, a day-long car show (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Aug. 10) that draws participants from across the Lower Mainland.

Last year’s show drew about 350 registered vehicles and thousands of spectators.

The show is concentrated along 176 Street and 176A Street. Those streets will be closed to vehicle traffic so pedestrians can admire restored antique, vintage, muscle, and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles.

There are cash awards and trophies, plus a $500 Cloverdale Shopping Spree Draw for those who register their vehicle.

There will also be a vendors market (at 176 St. and 56A Ave. and Hawthorne Square/5748 176 St.), a Cloverdale Rotary Club barbecue at Hawthorne Square, and live music at the Main Stage (see below), including multiple opportunities to see an Elvis impersonator.

The Main Stage (5748 176 St.):

• 9 to 11 a.m. – DJ Chuck

• 11 to 11:45 a.m. – Elvis ‘Elite’

• 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. – Trailer Park Boys

• 1 to 1:45 p.m. – Elvis ‘Elite’

• 2 to 2:45 p.m. – All About Jack

• 3 to 4:10 p.m. – Elvie ‘Elite’
