“The Fly”: Staged reading of George Langelaan’s script by Pivot Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Bethany-Newton United Church, 8 p.m. starring Chuck Mayne, Kayt Roth, Barbie Warwick and Margaret Shearman. “One of the creepiest stories ever written, ‘The Fly’ is the tale of Francoise Delambre, who is called by her sister-in-law Helene, saying she has killed Francoise’s brother, Andre, and instructing her to call the police.
