If it's August, you know the PNE isn't far around the corner. And, while it's a 60-minute drive (or so) from Cloverdale to East Vancouver, the Pacific Nationa Exhibition has become a summer tradition for those from all over the Lower Mainland.
Roller coasters. Cotton candy. Whack-A-Mole. What could be better?
This year, the PNE Feature Pavilion returns with a Star Trek exhibit from Vienna, Austria. Also, the Summer Night Concert Series will showcase musical guests Our Lady Peace, Olivia Newton-John, and The Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter (photos below).
Others include Heart, Emerson Drive, Juice Newton, Allstar Weekend, Rick Springfield, Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw, The Manhattan Transfer, Down With Webster, HANSON, Tower of Power, Chad Brownlee, Trooper, Prism, and Lifehouse.

The 2012 PNE runs from August 18-September 3, at the grounds at Hastings Street and Renfrew Street.
