The stirring themes from Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Lone Ranger TV show are featured in the Fraser Valley Symphony's upcoming spring concert.
'Family Fun', presented Sunday, April 3 at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium at 32315 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, is designed to appeal to audience members of all ages.

nerational and recognizable fare includes Peter and the Wolf, a musical tale by Prokoviev in which the various instruments of the orchestra tell what happens when young Peter and his animal friends encounter a dangerous wolf in the meadow.
Peter and the Wolf will be narrated by Ian Hampton (pictured at left), a founding member of London's Academy of St-Martin-in-the-Fields who has played cello with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Vancouver Symphony.
Doors open at 2:30 pm., and the concert is at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, and $5 for children 12 and under.
