Family Fun on tap for Fraser Valley Symphony

Film scores and the musical tale, Peter and the Wolf, featured at upcoming spring concert

The Fraser Valley Symphony presents 'Family Fun' April 3 in Abbotsford.

The stirring themes from Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Lone Ranger TV show are featured in the Fraser Valley Symphony's upcoming spring concert.

'Family Fun', presented Sunday, April 3 at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium at 32315 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, is designed to appeal to audience members of all ages.

Peter and the Wolf will be narrated by Ian Hampton (pictured at left), a founding member of London's Academy of St-Martin-in-the-Fields who has played cello with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Vancouver Symphony.

Doors open at 2:30 pm., and the concert is at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, and $5 for children 12 and under.
