Hundreds of 'Princess Irene' variety tulips will be coming into bloom as part of the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation's Tulips for Tomorrow campaign.

It's a sure sign of spring.

Tulips planted at 26 different locations across Surrey, including Surrey Memorial Hospital, Bear Creek and Holland Park, are just starting to appear.

The brilliant, multi hued blooms are of the Princess Irene variety. And they're part of the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation's annual celebration of donors. In the coming weeks, more than 600 planter pots of tulips will bloom as part of the foundation's Tulips for Tomorrow campaign.
