Downtown Cloverdale was filled with hundreds of pint-sized princesses, skeletons, wizards and witches Saturday for the 11th annual Halloween Costume Parade.
Organizers say 800 children registered for the ever-popular event, but as many as 1,000 may have taken part in this year's festivities, which featured activities at the Surrey Museum, which hosted Pumpkin Power, plus a supervised costume parade through downtown Cloverdale.
Children are split into two groups to go trick-or-treating at local businesses on either side of Highway 10 before returning to Surrey Museum Plaza for a costume prize draw.
Many participating business owners dressed up, too, and all handed out hundreds of candy and other treats.
