The Surrey Archives – one of our favourite resources – recently sent in a couple of Halloween images from its remarkable photo collection.
The first is an image of a scowling little Zorro that was taken at a 4H Club party in 1963. The second captures a group of costumed kids taken of some Whalley Cubs heading to a Cloverdale Halloween party, circa 1964.
On Monday, local children will continue the tradition by attending parties or trick or treating. Have candy ready.
