Members of Hope Community Church broke ground Nov. 9 on a new church they’ll be able to call their very own.
The congregation purchased the land at 18625 Fraser Highway 20 years ago.
Pastor Sid VanderWoud says once built, likely next summer, the church will be a positive addition to the Clayton community, offering preschool and youth programs, along with amenities like a climbing wall.
Founded in 1988, Hope Community Church is currently based out of Latimer Road Elementary School.
