Kids can get help getting up to speed in math and language arts

A free, drop-in program that gets students back up to speed after the summer break is continuing at the Cloverdale Library to Aug. 29.

The SOS Prep Squad is on hand to help 10 to 13-year-olds get better prepared for the upcoming school year in math and language arts.

Kids receive individual attention specific to their learning needs from qualified teachers who provide a safe, positive and fun learning environment, organizers say.

The program is presented by Surrey Libraries and SOS Children's Village B.C.

The drop-in sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30  a.m. to 1 p.m., to Aug. 29.
