A free, family-friendly event promising “a whole lot of fun” is planned for a corner of uptown White Rock on Saturday (Dec. 9).

A Very Saltaire Christmas – presented by Cleveland Doan and produced by the White Rock BIA – is set for 2-4 p.m. outside the Saltaire complex, located at the corner of Johnston Road and Thrift Avenue.

According to event info on the City of White Rock website, the afternoon will offer a “sleigh-load” of activities, and is “the perfect opportunity to get into the festive spirit while picking up items on your Christmas list!”

A post to the BIA website elaborates, noting Christmas carollers, a princess performer and a free Christmas photo booth are among planned highlights.
