Free shuttle makes shopping a breeze

Shoppers in Cloverdale town centre can also win a shopping spree, courtesy of the Chamber of Commerce and BIA.

Free shopping shuttle

What better way to do your Christmas shopping – and experience historic downtown Cloverdale  – on a cold winter’s day than to let someone else do the driving?

Shoppers and sightseers are invited to climb on board a free shuttle bus that will be operating Saturdays this December, and on the Sunday of the 7th annual Surrey’s Santa Parade of Lights (Dec. 2).

The rides are free, but passengers are asked to bring along a non-perishable food item or a new, unwrapped toy for the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program, a local initiative that helps hundreds of local families and individuals each holiday season.

Pick up spots include Clover Square Village, Brick Yard Station, Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino, the Holiday Inn and Suites, and downtown Cloverdale.

The shuttle runs Dec. 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. and from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2.

Shop Cloverdale and win

Four lucky people will each win shopping sprees in the Cloverdale town centre worth $250. To enter, simply visit one of the participating merchants. The rules are one entry form per visit. No purchase necessary. The prize draw is Friday, Dec. 21. The shopping spree and free shuttle are presented by the Cloverdale BIA and Cloverdale District Chamber of Commerce.
