Local java junkies grab more coffee-to-go from the 60 Avenue location in Cloverdale than from any other 7-Eleven in Surrey.
And Thursday morning, 7-Eleven stores across the country will be giving away free, medium-sized coffees in honour of National Coffee Day.
The free cuppa Joes, cappuccinos, and spiced pumpkin lattes will be flowing from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. (get it?) Sept. 29.
"It'll be a small thank you to our regular customers and a way to welcome new guests to a 'great coffee,'" says Tim Donegan, vice president of 7-Eleven Canada Inc.
Surrey residents love their coffee, but Calgary is where the national franchise sees its biggest volume of coffee sales.
