Man seriously wounded in stabbing

Police say two people got into an argument over drugs

A 40-year-old Surrey man is in serious condition after being stabbed Sunday night near Scott Road SkyTrain station.

At just before 8 p.m., two men believed to be negotiating a drug deal, got into an argument. A 19-year-old from Surrey produced a knife and stabbed the older man.

The victim was taken to hospital where he remained in serious condition Monday.

The attacker was arrested by police.

Charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon are being considered by police.
