Next Saturday at the Surrey Museum, join Raymond Nakamura from the Japanese Canadian National Museum to learn about Japanese Canadian history, the Canadian internment of its Japanese-Canadian citizens during the Second World War, and Nakamura's own family's experiences during this troubling period.
It's from 1-2 p.m., Oct. 22.
Also Saturday, join museum staff for a guided tour of the Two Views exhibit to learn the stories behind the images and the stories Surrey's pre-war Japanese Canadian population, from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
