The Cloverdale Colts will play for BC Hockey's Bantam Tier One provincial championship tonight in Kamloops.
One of five local minor hockey teams to qualify for provincial championship play this week, the Colts won all five games during the round robin portion of the six-team tournament, outscoring the opposition 31-11.
Cloverdale clinched first place by defeating the Burnaby Winter Club 5-3 yesterday afternoon. This morning, the defeated Prince George 7-1.
The Colts will play the second place Burnaby Winter Club in tonight's championship game, which faces off at 8 p.m.

After a 1-0 loss to Windermere Valley early on the first day of play Monday, the Surrey Falcons topped Salmon Arm 3-1 Monday night. Kendall Boone and Emily Gajkov each had a goal and an assist, with Kennedy Ledgerwood scoring the winning goal.
The Falcons then blanked Whitehorse 6-0 Tuesday, with Danielle Aviani netting the hat trick with Kayla Rychly, Julie Jangula and Dana van Vliet notching one each.

The Falcons then played to a 5-5 tie with Terrace Tuesday morning, coming back from a 5-3 deficit after 40 minutes. Long had a hat trick for Surrey, with Mandy Pollack and Jazmine Bal also netting goals.
Needing a win to qualify for the playoff round, Surrey edged Cranbrook 4-3, with Pollack tallying twice and Long and Madison Eaton adding singles.
