The Surrey Eagles will hold their annual Teddy Bear Toss event tonight at South Surrey Arena, when their BC Hockey League rival Powell River Kings come to town.
Fans are encouraged to show up to the game with new stuffed toys, to be tossed onto the ice after the Eagles' first goal. The stuffed critters will be collected and donated to the Surrey Christmas Bureau and Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary, where they will be distributed to young children at Christmas.
