Cloverdale’s Mairead Van Ginkel, aboard Sushi, clears a jump during the junior category division of the Campbell Valley Horse Trials.
The three-day event ran Aug. 16 to 18 at the Equestrian Centre in Campbell Valley Regional Park. The riders did their dressage tests on the first day, rode cross-country on day two, and then wrapped up with jumping on Sunday.
Van Ginkel placed fifth in the trials and at the B.C. Championships.
