The Cloverdale Masters Curling Club played host to 24 clubs earlier this month when the 22nd annual Senior Men's Bonspiel got underway.

A total of 24 teams from 10 clubs took part, with competitors coming from as far away as Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast, Haney, and Chilliwack.

Players ranged in age from 70 to 93 – the latter being Jack Logan of Tsawwassen.

The final game of the Feb. 10 to 12 senior 'spiel saw the Doug Spencer team of Langley defeating the Bruce Beveridge team from North Vancouver, earning the coveted Doc Campeau trophy.

It was presented by Rick Klassen of the Cloverdale Masters Curling Club.
