Four members of the Cloverdale Curling Club will be in Toronto next week for the Optimist International Under-18 Curling Championships.

Skip Tyler Tardi will lead the Cloverdale team which won the gold medal at last month’s B.C. Winter Games in Vernon. Other members of the team are third Jordan Tardi, second Nicholas Meister and lead Zachary Umbach. Paul Tardi is the coach.

A dozen teams will be competing in the men’s division, including seven representing Canadian provinces, one rink from Japan, as well as one each from Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Washington.

The tournament takes place April 4-8 at the St. George’s Golf and Country Club and the Dixie Curling Club.
