Cloverdale Community Football Association

The following results are from the Sunday, Nov. 9 game at Bear Creek Park.

Atom division

Cloverdale Lions: 16

North Surrey Lions: 14

Highlights:

The first round of the playoffs started with a great game between two evenly matched teams.  Both teams showed a spirited defence reflected in the low scores, with the only difference being a missed conversion kick.

Silvano Lalana was able to run around the N Surrey defence in the midfield to give Cloverdale their only TD of the first half which was converted by Rajin Chahal.  The second half TD by Rajin Chahal was from much closer to the end zone, and his successful conversion was the deciding factor to win the game.
