To the editor;
Your main headline in the January 24, 2013 Cloverdale Reporter was misleading! It read, “City Ponies up for Schools.”
The City of Surrey did not come up with $5 million for Surrey schools, as the headline implies.
The Surrey School Board dug into its emergency fund to come up with the money, to help Surrey schools because the provincial government is too slow!
Please check your headlines before publishing the paper.
