To the editor;
I have noticed with my nephews and niece and my husbands nieces, and other younger family members, whenever we send a gift or card or money for Xmas, graduation, birthdays and other occasions, we never get a response back that they received the gift or cards or money. Do they just expect it or know they are going to get something but they don’t have to say thank you?
When we were growing up we did, and still to this day, thank family, friends, co workers, bosses, neighbours and other people when they send us a gift or do something for us.
We don’t understand and we are not that old either. Any explanation would be appreciated so we can understand the new generation growing up. Thank you all.
