To the editor;
I am writing in response to the letter, “Gay lobbyists forcing ideology on youth” by Mike Schouten.
My word, I nearly choked on my dinner!
Bullying is horrific! If you are brave and passionate enough to fight against it, then more power to you and kudos too!
Sexual orientation does not matter here, I’m still trying to figure out why the heck it ever would?
And as for “forcing ideology”, we could look in a few history books, including our own, as to the effects that religion has had on most of the indigenous peoples across the globe, especially the ones that have lost their land, their language and their identities.
Just saying.
