White Rock RCMP launch CounterAttack

Police checked for impaired drivers along Marine Drive for provincewide program

White Rock RCMP, with support from community volunteers, launched its CounterAttack program Saturday evening.

Police and volunteers checked drivers for impairment on ‘the hump’ on the city’s Marine Drive.

CounterAttack is a police-run roadblock tactic that catches drug and alcohol impaired drivers. It has been running in the province for more than 35 years and typically takes place during July and December.
