Alternating traffic on 16 Avenue in South Surrey

Paramedics on scene of crash east of 176 Street during evening rush-hour

A crash on 16 Avenue east of 176 Street reduced the busy South Surrey thoroughfare to alternating traffic Wednesday.

According to a witness on the scene shortly after 5 p.m., a mother and child are sitting roadside, with significant front-end damage to a Dodge Caravan.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision, no significant injuries were reported.
