UPDATE: Missing 15-year-old from Surrey found safe and sound

Fifteen-year-old Trinity McKenzie has been located Trinity safe and sound.

Delta Police appreciate the help and support they received from the general public in answer to their requests for your assistance.

Delta Police are asking for the public's help locating 15-year-old Trinity McKenzie.

McKenzie, a Surrey resident, was originally reported missing to Surrey RCMP on Nov. 7. Their investigation found McKenzie had connections in the Delta and was known to frequent the area.

Delta Police assumed the investigation from Surrey RCMP on Nov. 24 and want to ensure all information on McKenzie's whereabouts are directed to them.

McKenzie was seen in the area of 84th Avenue and 112th Street in North Delta on Nov. 23 with one other teenaged female. Police say there are some indications that acquaintances may know of McKenzie's whereabouts but are not coming forward.

McKenzie is described as a Caucasian female, 5'10" tall and approximately 124 lbs. She has blonde hair with purple colouring that is shaved on one side. Her clothing is unknown.

If anyone sees her or knows of her whereabouts, they are asked to call the Delta Police at 604-946-4411 and quote file number 16-24722.
