Two teenagers and a senior were taken to hospital after a driver ran a red light Sunday night near Granville Island.

The trio was hit at West 4th Avenue and Anderson Street by a blue Mazda, Vancouver police said, in a crosswalk on a green light.

The teens suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the senior remains in hospital in serious but stable condition.

Police are investigating whether the driver was impaired.
