Teen stabbed at Cloverdale house party

Surrey RCMP are investigating a stabbing that took place at a house party in Cloverdale Saturday night.

Just after 11 p.m., police received several calls from neighbours who reported a fight in the yard of a home in the 18200-block of 60 Avenue.

A 16-year-old boy who was stabbed in the torso was taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.

The male had been involved in an altercation with at least one other male who fled the scene and is now being sought by police.

Surrey RCMP are asking party-goers who left the scene and who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
