On May 19, at about 11:30 p.m., Surrey Mounties responded to a report of a home invasion in the 10300-block of 127 Street.

A man broke into a residence and after being confronted by the occupants on the home, he bear sprayed and assaulted one of the residents and fled the area.

No items were taken and the victim was sent to hospital for minor injuries.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect and are asking for public assistance in finding him.

He is described as a Caucasian male, about six feet tall, short blond brush cut hair, muscular build and wearing a white muscle shirt, blue jeans and gold chain around his neck.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS if you wish to remain anonymous.
