Snow storm hits Surrey and region Monday

A number of private schools are closed in the Surrey area, and side roads are socked in.

Residents in the Surrey area woke up to a thick blanket of snow Monday, which is likely to play havoc with the commute.

The snow has also caused a number of power outages in the areas of Surrey and White Rock.
