Police search for two teens in Surrey hit-and-run

Two people were taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries Tuesday morning after a hit-and-run in Guildford.

Two elderly people were hospitalized after being struck by a stolen car in Guildford.

Two people from the car fled on foot and are currently subjects of an intensive RCMP search.

At about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, a man and a woman were struck by a Honda Accord at 108 Avenue and 146A Street. The man was found on the ground, breathing and conscious, and the woman was able to stand.

Both were taken to Surrey Memorial Hospital and have since been released.

Air One RCMP helicopter is currently scouring the area for two teens who fled the vehicle and headed southbound on 146 Street.

Police have determined the car was stolen, and have taken it for forensic examination.

Both suspects are described as being in their late teens. The male is thin, has a goatee and is wearing a red hoodie. The female has dark blonde hair and could be wearing a pink sweater.
