Three people were taken to hospital after a dramatic head-on collision Wednesday morning.
At about 7:20, a man was driving his vehicle eastbound on Highway 10 at Scott Road where it is believed he may have crossed the centre line, colliding with another car heading in the opposite direction. Another car smashed into the initial cars involved in the accident.
A man and two women were taken to hospital. The man, who was driving the car eastbound, and one of the women are in serious but non-life-threatening condition, police say. The other woman has suffered minor injuries.
The intersection at Highway 10 and Scott Road remain closed well into the afternoon as police worked to determine the exact cause of the accident.
