Things appear to be getting back to normal at Fleetwood Park Secondary, which was under lockdown earlier this afternoon as part of a situation involving the police.
The school, at 7940 156 Street, was locked down sometime after 12:30 p.m. today while Surrey RCMP dealt with a report of a potential threat.
Surrey RCMP say a 19-year-old suspect was arrested at a nearby park and has now been taken into custody.
The situation has been de-escalated, police say, and the school will be resuming normal operations. The investigation into the nature and validity of the threat continues.
