Victor Kaulius has been going to the northeast corner of 64 Avenue and 152 Street every couple of days, watering the flowers at a memorial site for his daughter.
He went there this week to find the flowers had been stolen. A check with Surrey showed they hadn't been cleared out by city crews.
Kassandra Kaulius was killed at that corner on May 3, 2011.
A cross and Kassandra's pictures were not taken this week, just the flowers.
Victor has mindfully looked after the memorial, making sure plants didn't obscure traffic sightlines and tidying up cigarette butts at the corner.
He cares for it, he says, for a community that loved his daughter.
He's replacing the flowers that were stolen. he's just asking people to leave them there for the enjoyment of the community.
