It took Surrey firefighters more than 30 minutes to put down a stubborn house fire on late Sunday morning in the 18100-block of 20 Avenue.
The two-alarm fire in the sprawling rancher was largely contained to the attic and roof.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
No one was injured in the incident.
