A family member has been charged in the murder of Jackie Olson in Surrey earlier this year.
On March 18, just before 5 p.m. police found Olson in a home in the 13000 block of 103A Avenue.
The 43-year-old had been stabbed and died at the scene.
About two weeks before her death, Olson posted a note on her Facebook site, reading "Family helps each other threw thick and thin – weather we feel its right or wrong – unconditional love is what i taught my family."
Because of their age, the person charged cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
