UPDATE: Car fire out on Alex Fraser Bridge

The fire was blocking the left northbound lane on the bridge just after noon

A car fire mid-span on the Alex Fraser Bridge has now been put out, but may still cause delays.

The fire was seen by the North Delta Reporter just after noon today (July 3), and was reportedly in the northbound left lane.

The fire is now out, but Drive BC tweeted that the two left lanes are still blocked.
