An interactive limbo performance will be featured at a fundraiser for Hurricane Beryl relief at PG's Jamaican Restaurant in White Rock Friday (Aug. 16).

Ever thought about enjoying an evening out that also, helps others?

A Jamaican restaurant in White Rock is holding an event with a cause this Friday, in hopes of providing some support in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.

PG's Jamaican Restaurant is hosting a special fundraising event, Gather and Give, on Aug. 16 at the Johnston Road eatery, featuring live steel pan music as well as a DJ, delicious Jamaican food including barbecue jerk chicken, and an interactive limbo performance by King Fish and more.

Many people in the Caribbean were severely impacted by Hurricane Beryl, which caused significant destruction last month. It displaced families, damaged homes, and disrupted lives, a release notes, adding the need for aid and support is "immense."

Gather and Give happens from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, starting at 6 p.m., with live music set to start at 7 p.m. and the limbo dancer at 8 p.m.

PG's is located at 1387 Johnston Rd., White Rock.
