Those who think they know a lot about Grey’s Anatomy might want to book a table at a Guildford-area establishment on Jan. 28.

The long-running TV drama is subject of a trivia night at The Taphouse, in another event brought to the bar by Tipsy Trivia.

The company specializes in hosting trivia nights devoted to television shows and movies, judging by the variety of events posted to its Facebook page (tipsytriviaYVR).

They’re also doing a HIMYM (How I Met Your Mother) trivia event at the Taphouse, on Monday, Jan. 14, with nights devoted to The Simpsons, Brooklyn 99 and Friends at other pubs in Metro Vancouver.

The Grey’s Anatomy night at the Taphouse is a return engagement there.

“We have gotten your feedback, and we agree, there are a LOT of episodes, so we are narrowing it down to seasons 12 to 14 only,” says a Tipsy Trivia event post. “So, spoiler alert, from after Derek’s death to the most recent episodes on Netflix now. We will have five rounds of 10 questions, and there will be a round on Meredith, a round on relationship drama, a round of crazy medical sh*t, and two potpourri rounds.

Teams of up to six people will compete for “hundreds of dollars in prizes.” Event tickets are $10.99 in advance (via eventbrite.ca), $15 at the door.

A “no cell phones” policy is in place during Tipsy Trivia nights.

“We won’t physically stop you from using your phones, however if you cannot refrain from using them during the question periods, your team may be disqualified from prizing,” says the event post. “That means you can still play the trivia, but you cannot win the prizing. Servers, managers and hosts are all watching for use of phones during question rounds.”
