A tree at Surrey's Historic Stewart Farm is decorated in Victorian style. Free-drop-ins at the farmhouse (13723 Crescent Rd.) this weekend will bring back the glow of Christmases past.

There's one last weekend before Christmas to relive the holiday – as it used to be – at Historic Stewart Farm.

The restored early 1900s farmhouse at 13723 Crescent Rd. will welcome visitors for a free drop-in from noon to 4:30 p.m. on both Saturday, Dec. 21 and Sunday, Dec. 22.

A time journey back to Surrey's pioneer days and the ways the holiday was celebrated back then, the drop-in is an opportunity to enjoy homemade refreshments, see authentic Christmas tree and household decorations and watch heritage holiday activity demonstrations by staff in period costume.

Participants will also be able to try their hand at some popular Victorian-era parlour games and even make a heritage craft to take home.
