Susie Francis and The Veratiles rehearse for their upcoming show

This was the scene Monday at the Cloverdale Legion, where Susie Francis and The Versatiles, the golden-aged group of variety act performers, were rehearsing songs from the ‘20s and ‘40s for their variety show, ‘Remembering’, at Branch 6 on Remembrance Day.

The Versatiles will be back at the Cloverdale Legion on Dec. 1, when they present their seasonal show, “It’s beginning to look like.”

The December show features songs, laughter and music of a bygone era.
